Dr. Peace Engel, professionally known as Doc Peace, is a first-generation Nigerian-American, Doctor of Pharmacy, award-winning spoken word poet, two-time bestselling author, and Forbes-featured creative entrepreneur. She is the founder of Let’s Flow GOLD®, a lifestyle brand rooted in the belief that words have the power to transform how we see ourselves and connect with others.

With more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including work with Fortune 500 companies, Doc Peace built a career at the intersection of healthcare, business, and human behavior before expanding her work into creative expression and entrepreneurship.

Her spoken word poetry has reached audiences across major entrepreneurial and cultural stages, including the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, where she shared the stage with Mark Cuban, and a Gary Vaynerchuk-hosted event at NFT.NYC. She has been commissioned to create original poetry for Randi Zuckerberg’s community, and her performances have earned recognition from entertainers including Ja Rule. In February 2022, she was featured in Forbes for her four-part approach to transforming mindset during uncertainty and transition.

But the foundation of her work reaches back generations.

Her great-grandfather served as a tribal chief in Nigeria. Her grandfather spent his days fishing to feed his village, while her grandmother nourished the community through food and shared wisdom. Growing up, Doc Peace’s mother carried that tradition forward through Nigerian proverbs—short, powerful expressions of wisdom, encouragement, and hope.

Inspired by this inheritance, Doc Peace began creating her own original sayings, eventually naming them Floverbs™—proverbs that flow.

As a pharmacist, poet, and mother, she became increasingly aware of the lasting impact words can have on how people think, feel, and see themselves. Yet she noticed that some of the most meaningful words we exchange—those printed inside greeting cards—were often read once and discarded.
